The Opportunity:

You will have responsibility for the Aerospace, Defense and Government (ADG) sales activity in the assigned North American region for the full Orolia R-PNT (Resilient Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) and Simulation portfolio, including products and programs. As a key member of our Sales team, you will create and implement tactical plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets. You will increase market penetration by understanding the competitive market landscape, and how Orolia’s technology can be of use. You will determine, establish, and manage the ideal distribution scheme for the territory (direct, indirect, channel, etc.), to ensure high quality customer relationships are developed and maintained.



What Success Looks Like:

  • Exceed annual order plan for territory
  • Plans to develop and increase orders in territory, consistent with company strategy are well executed
  • Consistent Collaboration with Program Managers and develop Program sales
  • Utilization of partners to optimize the channel, including training and sales support
  • Understanding of technology trends, relative business impacts and opportunities
  • Comprehension of assigned market dynamics, including competitive landscape, to:
    • provide product input ideas to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering
    • identify ripe target markets/applications
    • create and execute plans to penetrate market
  • Develop and enhance customer relationships such that Orolia is viewed as a partner to our customers
  • Strong Key Account management; building on existing relationships with major customers and establishing new relationships with other key customers (either directly or through team)
  • Ensure timely and accurate response to customer inquiries, leads and sales opportunities
  • Reporting and orders forecasting as required for position and usage of SFDC per established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a Technical or Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of technical sales experience with relevant electronic products, ideally in defense
  • Plus: experience with Position, Navigation, Timing and/or Simulation products
  • Selling to U.S. Primes, DoD, Aerospace, and Defense customers
  • Extensive experience managing a field sales channel, both direct and reps or distributors
  • A DOD Security clearance or eligibility for clearance
  • Position is based in US, Regular travel (25% to 50%) to visit customers, channel partners, various company locations and attend trade shows

About the role:

As an Associate Director, based in New York, USA, within the Banks, Client Coverage team, you will be responsible for developing and fostering relationships with our current customers in the sector and providing multi-product global solutions. You will work closely with our Client Management & Execution (CME) team globally, credit and product partners to drive superior client outcomes, whilst also developing a deep understanding across all products relevant to the industry.

You will also be involved in the ongoing critical review of the portfolio for valued and strategic relationships across Banks and Counterparties.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborating and partnering between Client Coverage, CME, Credit and Product Specialists ensuring a seamless experience for the client
